We are doing whatever it takes to make sure our neighbors have the building materials & supplies to rebuild their homes, businesses & farms. We are doing that in a few very unique ways. 

Material & Supply Donations: Since the storm all of America has brought us everything we needed to hand out to our community members in need. These physical donations have been in our humble opinion sent right from heaven. We are so thankful to be able to have a yard to receive, offload and handle any building materials or supplies that are sent to Yancey or Mitchell County. 

Monetary Donations: A lot of what our community needs doesn't always come in a physical donation of materials. With your monetary donations we are able to keep money on an escrow account at our local lumber yard; Summit Building Supply, Burnsville NC. With this account we are able to get quotes on the materials list for each project and submit the list for a quote. Then we are able to give our community members a gift certificate to Summit Building Supply for the amount needed to purchase those materials. This is our most important way of giving to our community. This way our neighbors are able to get exactly what they need to put their homes back together, Summit will even deliver it directly to the project site.  

We can now accept your donations of appreciated stock.  

As we raise awareness and are able to receive larger donations, our intent is to hire local contractors and sub contractors to assist their neighbors in putting their homes & properties back together. The local contractors are very excited about this, as it has been hard for them to not be able to afford to help their neighbors. Many have said if Rebuilding Hollers covers the materials expense, they will cover the labor, but we also know these guys also need to be paid a fair price for their services to the community.

Merchandise Purchase: We have been so thankful that all of America has fallen in love with our brand and our mission. We have hoodies, teeshirts, head wraps, neck gators, stickers and calendars for sale on Our Store page. By purchasing our gear you are assisting us in many ways! This gives us the funds we need to keep the escrow account at Summit Building Supply funded & covers all of our operating expenses so that all monetary donations can go directly to the funding of projects to rebuild our community.
